Kucina Italian Restaurant, a MUIS halal-certified Italian restaurant is founded in June 2016 by Chef Gero @ Omar, an Italian-Muslim revert, who has over 30 years of experience in Italian cuisine. Chef Gero takes pride in serving authentic and halal Italian cuisine to both Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
Born in London but with Sicilian blood from his father's side of the family, enjoying home cooked Italian food prepared by his Nonna has become an everyday affair for him. This piece of childhood ended up being a huge inspiration to the dishes that he makes from scratch today in Kucina.
